— Mechanobiology in Health and Disease is an early iteration of MBI's flagship international conference, showcasing the latest in our mechanistic understanding of biological processes in health and disease, and advancements in diagnostic and therapeutic designs.

Directive

— Being the biggest in-person event after four years of pandemic-induced conference-drought, this was conceptualized to be bright, modern, fresh and fun, deviating from how scientific conference are typically stylized. Adopting a vividly warm theme and using a jungle gym to showcase the physical abilities of cells help to portray the main ideas of health, disease and cellular mechanics. As for the logo, intersecting a plus (for health) and a cross (for disease) gives a gear, an apt hallmark of mechanobiology and, collectively, the conference title.
